An in-home session with Gracie and Steve and their two girls, Willa and Wren, on their new slice of Sunshine Coast acreage. Willa, my little zipper buddy, recently recovered from open heart surgery, and her quiet strength was felt in every moment. Wren, the firecracker, kept us all on our toes. We iced cinnamon buns in their warm kitchen, picked lemons from the orchard, and soaked up the joy of fresh space, slow mornings, and that wild, beautiful kind of freedom that comes with starting over somewhere special.

at home with GRACIE & STEVE

A golden winter’s morning at Stumers Creek with this sweet little trio. The light was soft and dappled, the kind that feels like a quiet hug. We wandered along the water’s edge, toes in the sand, hearts full, as baby Millie, just 7 months old, took in the world with wide eyes and gummy smiles. These are the days that feel slow and sacred. The kind of love you can feel just by looking.

ON
LOCATION

In the company of fellow photographers, I had the chance to document this radiant family of five during a workshop session, but it was the in between moments that stole my heart. Among the gentle chaos, laughter, and soft golden light, I found pockets of stillness and connection, hands reaching, glances shared, kids caught mid-giggle. They were a dream to photograph: warm, photogenic, and beautifully themselves. Proof that even surrounded by cameras, the most meaningful images come when no one’s really trying.
